When support agents are working in Zendesk, they'll see Nutshell customer data in the ticket view—no switching between apps.
New and updated tickets sync automatically to customer records in Nutshell, including ticket details, requester information, agent replies, and ticket metadata. If the ticket requester matches an existing contact in Nutshell, the ticket appears in that person's timeline and activity records. If there's no matching contact, agents see a form to quickly create a new person.

Step 1Make sure you are signed up for Nutshell! If not, visit https://www.nutshell.com/signup/ to get started.Step 2Head to https://app.nutshell.com/setup/integration and locate the Zendesk integration. Click "Create API Key" and copy the key that appears in the gray box.Step 3Install the Nutshell app from the Zendesk marketplace. When setting up the app, you'll need to provide your Nutshell username as well as the API key you copied in Step 2.
And that's it! The app will automatically install the necessary triggers to send your Zendesk conversations to Nutshell timelines. If you need a hand, please contact us at support@nutshell.com.
