Helix is a help center theme for online shops and marketplaces — the kind of support site where people arrive angry about a parcel and need an answer in ten seconds.

What you get

• A search-first home page. The hero puts the search field above everything else, with four quick-link chips underneath that you point at your most common questions.
• Category cards with icons. Pick from sixteen line icons in the theme editor, choose where the icon sits — above the title, beside it, below the text or centered — its size, and whether it sits in a plain, square or circular badge. No code, no image uploads.
• Four service pillars. Free shipping, returns, warranty, support — whatever your promises are. Plain HTML, so they show up for search engines and for visitors with JavaScript disabled.
• An article page built for long articles. A table of contents generates itself from the headings and follows your scroll. Related articles and the other articles in the section sit alongside.
• A community that looks like the rest of the site, not like a bolted-on forum.

Translation without a developer

Every piece of copy the theme owns — hero, pillars, footer, the requests panel — runs through Zendesk Dynamic Content. Your team writes the variants in the admin and the theme picks the right one per visitor.

Dynamic Content is optional. It is a single tick box in the theme editor, and until you tick it every one of those strings stays an ordinary theme setting — so the theme reads correctly in one language out of the box, with nothing to configure.

Built to stay simple

No build step. No npm install. No framework. Curlybars templates, one stylesheet, one script file. If you buy the developer licence you can read all of it in an afternoon.

What it is built on

Zendesk's Copenhagen theme, API version 4, with the standard compiled widgets left untouched — the request form, the request list and the service catalog behave exactly as Zendesk ships them.

Accessibility and performance

Colour pairings meet WCAG AA. The theme adds no third-party JavaScript and no tracking. Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion.
